Born from the challenging and revolutionizing “Solar Islands” concept of CSEM SA (Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology), Nolaris SA was founded in 2007 to design, develop and implement new solar energy installations.
As the 25th spin off of CSEM, Nolaris benefits from a strong partnership and leverage with its mother company and is deploying cost-competitive thermo-solar solutions for the construction of the solar island plants.
Nolaris primary objective is to provide large-scale solar installations enabling very low-cost energy production, competing thus with traditional energy sources and defining new benchmark for energy production.
